The World 5G Conference, the world's first international event in 5G, was held for the first time in Beijing in 2019. Experts, scholars and business executives from around the world gathered at the Conference for in-depth discussions on the theme of "5G will change the world and 5G will create the future".

The 2020 World 5G Conference, co-hosted By the Guangdong Provincial People's Government, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, will be held in Guangzhou from November 26 to 28 with the theme of "5G Enabling 5G+, By All for All".

As one of the organizers of the conference, Guangdong province has been actively promoting the development of 5G industrial application. In 2019, Guangdong province issued the Guangdong Action Plan for Accelerating 5G Industry Development (2019-2022), which defines the goals and direction for 5G industry development. As one of the first batch of 5G pilot cities in China, Guangzhou attaches great importance to seizing the opportunity of 5G rapid development, accelerating the cultivation of new forms of business, new economy and new driving forces, and building new driving forces led by science and technology, so as to provide important support for realizing the new vitality of old cities in Guangzhou. This conference will combine the development trend of guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, discuss new starting point, new direction and new opportunity of 5G around the commercial landing process, promote 5G to integrate into all industries, connect everything, benefit the public, and contribute to the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
